NEWater Personal Recount

After visiting the NEWater plant today, I learnt that NEWater is mainly for industrial use, is purified through three stages and about the four 'taps'. NEWater is used mainly for industrial purposes as the NEWater is extremely clean and by doing this, there is less drinking water that is used for industrial needs. I learnt that of the three stages, only the first two are more important but the last one is to ensure Singaporeans that the NEWater is safe to drink. I learnt a few concepts today, two of them are that water molecules are smaller than viruses, bacteria and minerals and the second one is that strong ultraviolet rays can kill living things. One interesting thing that I learnt from the NEWater visit today is how the water is suck up the pipes in the first stage. The pumps have to reverse sometimes. I could be a NEWater ambassador to tell others to use less water and convince them that NEWater is safe. I could tell people to use 140 liters of water a day to reduce water consumption in Singapore.

The third picture shows less than 10 percent of the snacks.
The fourth picture has my mother giving a red-packet to my cousin.
Fifth picture has most of my paternal relatives.
The sixth picture is how the Yusheng looked like at first.
Seventh picture has the Yusheng after the mixing.
The last picture has a Korean dish that my parents learnt how to make. It is was eaten at my neighbors house and it is some Korean rice cakes.

Sustainable design

Sustainable design is the study of designing objects that are eco-friendly and are useful.
Sustainable design can range from the tiny objects in daily life to buildings. Sustainable design can be used in i.e. Engineering,Urban Design,Industrial Design.
The objects should be made from renewable materials as it should be eco-friendly. Example of an object using sustainable design: Wind turbine

Research-Part 1

1) Research is to find out information required for tasks.
2) Research is important because it helps me find out about things that I do not know or understand.
3)We can conduct good research by searching for the important key words and focusing on the point.

admt personal reflection

1) ADMT is making things look nicer, better and more interesting.
2)Without ADMT the world would still be very simple. Like there would not be electronics.
3)I would want to learn how to design better things, especially Lego.
